A.k.a. Madame Tussauds London
Madame Tussauds is a wax museum in London with smaller museums in a number of other major cities. It used to be known as ‘Madame Tussaud's’, but the apostrophe is no longer used. The museum was founded by wax sculptor Marie Tussaud. With her sons, Madame Tussaud established a base in London at ‘The Baker Street Bazaar’ in 1835. But in 1884, Marie’s grandsons moved the attraction to its current site on Marylebone Road. Madame Tussauds is a major tourist attraction in London, displaying the waxworks of famous and historic people and also many film characters.
