Romanian with hungarian origins folk singer ✰ August 22, 1918, Iclod, Cluj County ✞ September 18, 1980 Târgu Mureș, Mureș County In personal life was lawyer and teacher. After graduating from high school to the University of Debrecen, Hungary, he continued his studies with a doctorate in law. 1941-1948 - soldier in Romanian Army, WWII. 3 years was in captivity as a prisoner of war. 1947 - his brother did in war. 1949 - married with Máthé Zsuzsanna (teacher) in Târgu Mureș, România. 1953 - begin to work as economist in a sugar factory. There was part of factory's folk ensemble 1958 - begin to record folk songs 1960 - made 3 recordings at Radio România Tg. Mureș 1963, 1964, 1965 - made recordings at Hungarian Radio 1968 - recorded his first LP at Electrecord. The album include the material of the Hungarian Radio and also new songs In 70's appeared to romanian radio broadcasting in București, Cluj, Târgu Mureș and also sing in sugar factory's folk ensemble 1980 - September 18 he passed away at The Târgu Mureș County Hospital
