Madeth gray'll was one of the main bands of the visual kei independent label Matina. Originally a duo made of vocalist KEI (15) and guitarist 静流, they were formed in September 1997. By November of the same year 歪 joined on guitar and 雪那 joined on bass. The first live was a secret performance that was held on Christmas 1997 at Umeda Guild. On May 7 1998 歪 was killed in a car accident while he was going to hide (2)'s funeral with Deshabillz bassist 美歪. For this reason Madeth gray'll decided to stop all live activities after a series of two self-sponsored events on August 8th and 9th 1998 and the release of their first CD. During the pause guitarist 静流 left the band. Madeth gray'll eventually came back with a new guitarist called 右狂 in June 1999. Live activities were resumed with a oneman performancer on August 9th where it was announced that another guitarist, 泉 had joined the band. In October 1999 session drummer 麗華 was officially added to the lineup and Madeth gray'll had their first tour. However, after the tour ended in December 右狂 left the band. Some time later 藍梨 started playing as a session guitarist, but right after it was announced that he would officially join the band in November 2000, 雪那 announced the would leave Madeth gray'll. The band members then decided to stop activities and disband after a final release and a final performance on January 29th 2001.
