She's famous for her collaboration with Federico Fellini (as actress). Musically, she's mostly famous for having recorded in 1956 one of the first rock n roll songs in French, titled "Fais-moi mal, Johnny" (Hurt me bad, Johnny), quickly censored on the radio due to its sexually explicit lyrics (written by Boris Vian).
