Czech poet, lyricist, writer, performer. Born September 23, 1944 in Humpolec (former Czechoslovakia), died November 10, 2011 in Prague. Manager and artistic leader of The Plastic People Of The Universe from 1969 until the mid-1970s, later their regular associate. Political prisoner for many years during the communist regime in Czechoslovakia.
