Single IT 2017 on Black Chrysalis Archives label
Dance (Techno, Experimental, Abstract)
It's time to re-adomesticate noise with the Black Chrysalis Archives Imago Series. We close the circle this time with a very special guest. His talent of reassuming two different worlds is seducing Europe's clubs and festivals. We want to propose to you another live set, for the Imago Series, performed and recorded at Stadlin (Rome) on the 9th of May 2017 for the Machine night. We're talking about Mai Mai Mai, sir... and if you still don't know this project you should take a listen to it. Appeared already on labels such as Boring Machines, Yerevan Tapes, Love Blast, Instruments of Discipline, Corpoc and Not Not Fun, his work has often been the result of tireless and innovative collaborations. Elements from noise, drone and techno beautifully meet tape/field recordings and bucolic songs. Modern electricity-based instruments cleverly fuse to folkloristic melodies resulting in a devastating and rarely probed experimentation, into which reinforced concrete collides against iron forged through centuries. This is Mai Mai Mai for Black Chrysalis Archives ladies and gentlemen. LINK TO THIS LIVE: https://soundcloud.com/blackchrysalisarchives/imagoseriespodcastmaimaimai
