Born 6. July 1951 in Küsnacht, Switzerland. Swiss singer of Schlager, Musicals, Swing, Soul and Gospel. Maja Brunner was born as the daughter of Ernst Brunner, head of the country Chapel of Seebuebe. At the age of eleven she learned clarinet and saxophone. Later, she was a singer of the Band Tomorrow. After attending business school in Zürich, Maja Brunner was from 1969 for 20 years Secretary. Today, it is among other things working as a presenter for the Swiss Radio DRS. In 1970 she won the follow of Glarus, then she sang in various bands. 1974 singer is the Zurich pop band "Date Of Birth". in 1981 she participated Swiss Union as a member of the vocal group the Swiss entry for the Eurovision Song Contest. In the 1990s, she started a career as musical and theatre actress (among other female lead in the musical comedy of Bongo, Bongo by Hans Gmür).
