This EP Single of Makala Jazz Funk Band starts with an instrumental cover of "Wack Wack", classic original tune of Young-Holt Unlimited, American Soul and Jazz instrumental musical ensemble from Chicago, Illinois. The second track called "Orrua" is a kind of Jazz, Rhythm'n'Blues, Ye-Ye & Surf instrumental song. Is the one and only original tune of MJFB on their first release. Also it is included on this EP another bonus track of this song called "Orrua (Alternate Take Surf Mix)". The third cut, "Live It Up" is a Jazz Funk revision tune of James K-Nine, originally recorded on 1973. It seems that the great Eddie Bo was behind this original song. On the fourth track, we have a 70's Disco Afro Soul style instrumental cover of "Heavy Heavy Heavy" song, originally composed & recorded by the great Geraldo Pino, Sierra Leone's famous Funk artist. All tracks has been recorded at Antoine Renault Studio (Zarautz, Basque Country), Mixed at Euridia Studios (Bilbao, Basque Country) and Mastered at Studio Schoenrock (Stuttgart, Germany). Graphic design and illustrations are made by Txarly Brown from Barcelona.
