A.k.a. Maks Konings Stender Stirrup
Maks Konings was born in 1986, and it was soon clear music was in his blood. He started out very young as a drummer, and played in several bands like Jazzalicious, Urban Jam Collective and Revco Soundsystem. Production wise, things got into shape around 2006, when he was asked by Isabelle Antena to make a remix of her popular 'Le Spinner' track, which resulted into a first official release, next to big names like Thievery Corporation, Nicola Conte, Buscemi, Denis Moulin and Ursula 1000. He also met Peter from Electromen, with who he shared the studio for a while, and started deejaying. In the beginning of 2008, Maks teamed up with the colorful DJ Prinz. Their first release, the 'Back & Forth EP', featuring Pete Lewizz, was released in September of 2008, on Punk'id Records. Prinz & Maks continued their work in the studio and did a couple of remixes for artist like Cartel Deluxe. They soon had a collection of tracks ready for release and started Push It Records, as a follow-up of Prinz's allready succesful Push It Club-concept. Their first EP on the label was released in September 2009.
