Jazz
Avante-garde jazz group out of Kansas City, Missouri led by saxophonist Mark Southerland. Joined by turntable guru Joc Max, vibraphonist Mike Dillon, and keyboardist / producer Clarke Wyatt, they quickly became one of the most free-spirited and accessible avant-garde acts in Kansas City history. Eugene Chadbourne of Camper Van Beethoven also became a frequent collaborator.
