The griots (praise singers) include Kèmö Condé, Kasse Mady Diabaté, Sekouba Bambino Diabaté, Kandia Kouyaté, Kerfala Kanté, Fodé Baro, and Bako Dagnon. Instrumentalists include Djessou Mory Kante (guitar), Djelimady Tounkara (guitar), Kerfala Kanté (guitar), and Madou Sidiki Diabaté (kora).
