Single DE 2004 on Krautopia label
Electronic (Krautrock, Abstract, Ambient)
“The subharchord is a rare electronic instrument most closely related to the mixturtrautonium created by Oscar Sala. A predecessor to the common synthesizer, the instrument was rediscovered just four years ago by Manfred Miersch, an artist and musician from Berlin. This recording is the very first release of subharchord music on vinyl in almost 35 years.” Alan Gould, 2004. A1 is a historical recording of East German "Kinderfunk" in 1962 featuring the inventor of the Subharchord, Ernst Schreiber. A2 and B recorded in 2003, mixed at atelier Theremin Studios Berlin in 2003/04. The last track on side B has a lock groove and may run endlessly.
