Producer CBC Studios, Halifax Born in Halifax. Studied engineering at Dalhousie University. Started work in broadcasting in 1955 while at university. By 1960 was producer and director of various general programming at CBC Halifax.He was the original producer of The Singalong Jubilee Cast from 1961 to 1973, except for the summers of '67 & '68. He also produced and directed The Cast Of Frank's Bandstand from 1964 to 1967. During the '70s he produced and directed Don Messer's Jubilee for CBC Hamilton. 1986 saw him join the faculty of Media Arts at Sheridan College, Oakville, Ontario where he taught until 1999 when he retired due to Parkinson's Disease. He received The "Stompin' Tom Connors" ECMA award in 2003 in recognition of his pioneering work in developing music videos. He is credited by some as the first to have made them.
