Spanish pianist, composer and author, born 30 January 1899 in Sevilla, Spain and died 13 December 1988 in Madrid, Spain. Composer of famous coplé and copla songs as "Tatuaje", "Rocío", "La Parrala", "María de la O", "Ojos verdes", "La Zarzamora" or "Badajoz la Tierra Mía", also "De Santurce a Bilbao"he wrote about 5000 songs with lyricists like Salvador Valverde and famous team working with Antonio Quintero Ramírez and Rafael de León (Quintero, León y Quiroga). Not to be confused with the Galician violinist and composer Manuel Quiroga (2).
