Composer of famous coplé and copla songs as "Tatuaje", "Rocío", "La Parrala", "María de la O", "Ojos verdes", "La Zarzamora" or "Badajoz la Tierra Mía", also "De Santurce a Bilbao"he wrote about 5000 songs with lyricists like Salvador Valverde and famous team working with Antonio Quintero Ramírez and Rafael de León (Quintero, León y Quiroga). Not to be confused with the Galician violinist and composer Manuel Quiroga (2).
