Spanish singer/songwriter, Manuel Luna (b. 1955) is a researcher, musician and interpreter of popular, roots and peasant-like music, who together with his band "La Cuadrilla Maquilera" have recorded eight albums. Their compositions combine authenticity elements with the most state-of-the-art contributions to the field of instrumentation and musical arrangements. Their repertoire gathers most of the popular chord-phonic music from the Spanish peasant-like traditional bands. 'La Cuadrilla Maquilera' is formed by: Enrique Valiño: Violin, rabel: Juan José Robles: Bouzuki, laúd, octavilla, bandurria; Eduardo Meco: drums, cajón, darbuka, djembé, percussion; Juan Romero: electric bass, and Manuel Luna: vocals, guitar, rabel, tambourine.
