Singer / Composer of Latin, Folk and World
Uruguayan composer and singer, born in Montevideo in 1939. He formed a duo with his wife, and also composed for other artists, as Alfredo Zitarrosa, Mercedes Sosa, José Manuel Soto or María Jiménez. Settled in Spain since the first 70s. In 1980 he created Ripicardo with Ricardo Steinberg to teach music to children ("Las Capanciones de Ripicardo"). He died in 1994.
