A.k.a. Marc McWilliams Falling Down
Falling Down started out as a DJ, then in 1995 bought his first keyboard and sampler. He worked with his own artists until 1997, when he met Kinetic 9 (of Killarmy) while in a meeting at Razor Sharp Records. He began building with Kinetic and eventually started recording with Killarmy. From these sessions came the first two singles off of their junior album (Fear, Love and War), "Street Monopoly" and "Monster". A third track was also used for this project called "Originators". These were his first official placements and led to continuous work with many other artists within the Wu-Tang camp. He became a fixture at the 36 Chambers Studios and in 2001 was offered a contract to become an in-house producer (Wu-Element) for Wu-Tang Records. He ultimately decided against signing but, to this day, continues to maintain a solid relationship with many in the Wu-Tang family. Fear, Love and War dropped on Tuesday, September 11, 2001 and the rest is history. Since, he has produced for Beyonce, Lil Flip, Cuban Link, Kool G Rap, Method Man, Inspectah Deck, La the Darkman, Sean Price, R.A. the Rugged Man, Jared Lee and many other artists. In addition, he has put out several underground projects, produced for commercials and has scored for tv/film. He produces all genres of music and feels that each track is a reflection of how he is feeling at the time of inception. He lives to create music and is on the path to become one of the most versatile, sought after producers in the game today.
