Rousseau is the newest addition to the Canadian post-hardcore band, Silverstein. He took the place of being the lead guitarist after former long time guitarist, Neil Boshart left the band. He first contributed with Silverstein on the fourth and fifth studio albums, A Shipwreck In The Sand and Rescue, where he provided backing vocals with many others. His first appearance as a full time member was on the band's sixth studio album, This Is How The Wind Shifts.
