DJ Mars started playing records in 1994 and after a few years of practicing he got the chance to play at the local youth society called Pompei. A few years later DJ Mars became the resident dj of a big club called Hollywood Music Hall.There he met his partner in crime Marlon S. Together with Marlon he formed Bad Boyz, and that’s it where it really begun. As said before DJ Mars is 50% of the popular live act Bad Boyz. DJ Marlon S makes up for the other 50%. Under the Bad Boyz they produce records for the well known Tremble Tracks; a sub label of Seismic Records, one of the biggest hardstyle labels in the world. Their hits include the Shake Thiz and Wicked Sounds EP.’s. Under the supervision of hardstyle masters Beholder and Balistic (label managers of Seismic Records and Tremble Tracks) this duo got a chance to make a jump remake of the 2004 Decibel Outdoor anthem: “Bigger, Better, Louder” by The Beholder and Balistic feat. Max Enforcer which was released on the seismic label. As a result of their releases on Tremble Tracks, their highly successful remix and the rising popularity of jumpstyle, DJ Mars received the honor of mixing a compilation; Under the name Bad Boyz he mixed “Tremble Tracks presents Jumpstyle”. This compilation gives a good impression of his current releases together with the biggest national and international Jump-style hits. Besides the upcoming Bad Boyz releases there will also be a new Marlon S vs DJ Mars EP which will appear on the Tremble Tracks label. DJ Mars also played on several big party`s like: Decibel Outdoor, Defqon 1, Reverse, Bassleader, hardbass, but also in several big clubs like: Matrixx, Outland, Time Out, complex, cherrymoon and lot`s of other clubs.
