Was training as a nurse and singing with the Nova Scotia Girl Singers when she joined Singalong Jubilee from 1963-64 and 1966-74 . She sang choral backup on TV for a number of years. as at 2004 sang in the Novas Scotia groups The Aeolian Singers and Chebucto Singers. Resided in Hammonds Plains, NS.
