Maria Cunha started writing and singing in 1995, in the Portuguese rock band LSD, with whom she performed in some pubs and festivals. A few years later she was invited by Paulo Alegria to join him on the Neon’s downtempo trip-hop album “eye:scream”. Since 2010, she has been singing some of the most famous themes of Portuguese folk music – Fado. She’s still involved in electronic experimental music as a singer.
