Birth: April 15, 1898, Peoria, Illinois, USA Death: April 07, 1961, Encino, California, USA The daughter of a coal miner, Marian was born to Daniel and Anna Driscoll in Peoria, Illinois. As a young adult, Marian gave music lessons and sang in the choir at her Catholic church. She married her childhood sweetheart Jim Jordan on August 31, 1918. Marian's entertainment career began in Vaudeville with her husband. Her greatest professional success was during America's golden age of radio. As "Molly McGee" she played opposite her husband's character "Fibber" in the popular radio comedy "Fibber McGee and Molly", which ran from 1935 to 1959.
