Romanian writter and translator born December 9, 1943, La Louviere, Belgium - passed away of cancer February 27, 1993, Bucharest, România. Born as Marica Pop, of a Romanian father (Petru Pop) and a Spanish mother (Baroness Jeanne de Siemmons). Both parents were killed in a car crush in 1966. In 1965, she's coming to Bucharest, for the Romanian-Belgian cultural exchanges. Working in 1965 as a translator in Bucharest, România, meet and marry romanian actor Radu Beligan. Mother of actress Lamia Beligan.
