Danish classical pianist. Educated from a.o. Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium. Taught by a.o. Amalie Malling, John Damgaard, Hans Leygraf and Jiri Hlinka. Rørbech has won a number of prizes and awards, a.o. the 2004 classical release of the year Danish Music Awards. She was a shooting star in Danish classical music when in 2008, aged 34, she had to end her career due to focal dystonia in her right hand middle finger, the same disease that had caused Leon Fleisher to for a while only play concerts written for left hand.
