Canadian violonist, teacher, actress and artistic director, Marie-Hélène da Silva graduated in music and education at Université du Québec. She is a pioneer in the development of musical theatre productions for young audiences and co-founded "Le Moulin à Musique", a musical company that creates, produces and presents musical performances for young audiences. With her company she toured extensively throughout Canada, and also in France and Belgium, which brought her to play on the album "Red Poppies" by the Belgian band Zop Hopop.
