Single FR 1970 on CBS label
Jazz, Latin and Pop (Avant-garde Jazz, Bossa Nova, Latin Jazz)
The original instrumental track which originated the song of side B called 'Computador' was composed by Egberto Gismonti and appears on his first album released in Brazil in 1969. Other titles composed by Gismonti as 'Lírica número 1', 'Lendas', 'Pêndulo', 'Janela de ouro', 'Mercador de serpentes' or 'Sonhos' were recorded by Marie Laforêt in 1969-1970 for an album, but CBS, her new record company expecting hits and ditties, opposed the release of the album considered too avant-garde. There is a cover of this track with lyrics in Dutch by Cees Nooteboom entitled 'Nacht en dag' (Day and night) recorded by Liesbeth List for her album "Victoria" released in the Netherlands in 1970.
