All compositions © Marina Rosenfeld 2009. Published by Marina Rosenfeld/Filiform Music. Mastered at Harvestworks. Composed and performed between 2007 and 2009. "Teenage Lontano" was composed, recorded and premiered in New York as part of the Whitney Biennial 2008 at the Park Avenue Armory. The installation version of the project is excerpted here in three sections, as tracks 2, 6 and 8. Special thanks to all 40 of the participants in the Teenage Lontano Choir, to Art Production Fund and the Whitney Museum for producing the project, to Bob Bielecki for creative consulting and design, to Raj Patel and Mike Skinner of Arup Acoustics for design consulting and engineering, to Andrew Deutch and Alfred University's Institute for Electronic Arts for the artist residency during which much of this work was made, and to Rebecca Robertson of the Park Avenue Armory for her unlimited support and generosity. Thanks also to the New York New Music Ensemble and Transit Festival, Leuven, Belgium, who commissioned "Rings/Black Circles", also 2008, as a chamber work with electronics, an electronic version of which is here as track 4.
