Musician of Classical
Oboe player from Finland, born in 1972. She start playing oboe at the age of nine at the Lappeenranta Music Institute (Lappeenranta, Finland). She graduated at the Sibelius Academy (Helsinki, Finland) in 1996. Her teachers have been Timo Lehtonen, Matti Jylhä-Vuorio, Sven-Erik Paananen, Aale Lindgren, Jouko Teikari and Jorma Valjakka. She has also studied in Paris with Jacques Tys and Hélène Devilleneuve. In 1998 she gave her debut concert at the Sibelius Academy (Helsinki, Finland). She has been the Associate Principal of the Tapiola Sinfonietta oboe section from 1994. She is also a member of Lappeenranta Ensemble and Zagros Ensemble.
