Marjatta Pokela (January 5, 1925 in Kouvola, Finland - April 13, 2002 in Helsinki, Finland) was a Finnish singer, lyricist and composer. She wrote about 300 songs during her career, most of them were children's songs. Her most memorable works are Vaarin Saari, Mörköooppera, Ihme ja Kumma and Mörrimöykky. She was married to kantele player Martti Pokela. Their daughter is Eeva-Leena Sariola.
