Former chorister at Westminster Cathedral, London (1988-1993). In 1999, he won a choral scholarship to New College, Oxford. He was appointed Assistant Director of Music at Summer Fields, Oxford, in 2003, and in 2008 he succeeded Paul Ekins as Director of Music at the Westminster Cathedral Choir School.
