Since 1995, Mark Falkenrath began to shape his own musical history. Today, after years of pouring love and sweat into the world of electronic music, Mark boasts a variety of accomplishments and shows no signs of slowing down. On the contrary, one might say he is just getting started. In 2007, after years of collecting vinyl, his passion for music and events prompted him to come together with friend Thorsten Lindenlauf to found a performance/production duo as a new means to express their interpretation of electronic music. They aptly called themselves Tandem and swiftly became a household name amongst the Cologne Techno circle. At the same time, Thorsten and Mark launched Klangfarbe Schallplatten, a record label, which furthered their career as DJs and curators of electronic music. Following their seventh release in 2011, the boys started a series of events called Klangfarbe Klub as a platform to present the label’s many talented producers and as a way to give back to the community in which they got started. In 2013, Mark took the leap to go solo and now he DJs on his own. As a performer, he strives to keep things interesting. He does not adhere to only one style; he stays true to his heart and to the crowd, never to be pigeonholed into one genre. His experience is clear and his devotion is undeniable. Mark’s unwavering vision will undoubtedly keep the crowds moving.
