A.k.a. Giant K-Stack
UK guitarist, producer, songwriter, engineer. Mark started his career as a guitarist, playing live and on records with artists such as Gwen Stefani, Roy Ayers, Sister Sledge, Pet Shop Boys, Ringo Starr, Ronnie Wood, Robbie Williams and many more. He cut his production teeth as a member of acclaimed electronic trio The Filthy Dukes who released their one and only album ‘Nonsense In The Dark’ in 2009 to great critical acclaim, remixing the likes of Bloc Party, The Rakes, Temper Trap and Passion Pit in the process. He used this as a springboard to create a burgeoning career as a producer, mixer and writer working with the new wave of electronic music talent: Hot Natured, Jamie Jones, Clean Bandit, Infinity Ink as well as indie legends Franz Ferdinand and pop outsiders Hot Chip amongst others. Most recently, Mark Ralph has co-produced, co-written and mixed Years & Years’ debut album ‘Communion’. Mark’s studio is situated in Queen’s Park, London and contains an ever-expanding army of vintage analogue recording equipment, combined with the latest Pro Tools hardware, which he uses to record and mix everything from solo artists to full bands.
