Marni is an established performer with a rock’n’roll past. She has played in many Melbourne (Australia) bands as a songwriter/bass player/vocalist and these days performs her own material playing mandolin and guitar, working either solo, or as a duo/trio with Mark Smith and Dave Sheehan. Marni’s songwriting covers the territory of social comment, dark themes and humorous digs at human behaviour. Her songs have featured on two compilation albums (Aust and US) and have been covered by artists such as Leslie Avril and The Stetson Family.
