A.k.a. Jørgen Vase Schmidt
Danish con artist and pianist, known as "The fake marquis" in Denmark, where he in the early 60's lead a high society life with Danish and french celebreties as the fake Marquis de Kériolét. In real life he was bookeeper in a petrol company and financed his fake lifestyle by frauding his employer. He was arrested in 1963. By childhood he was a gifted pianist. In the 50's he lived in Paris where he hang out with a.o. poet Jean Cocteau and Jean Marais. It was Marais who introduced Schmidt to the french elite and it's lifestyle. After his time in prison Schmidt has remained in character now as Marquis Marcel De Sade and remained a public character in Copenhagen, also as pianist
