Martha Johnson (born December 18, 1950 in Toronto, Ontario) is a Canadian pop singer and songwriter. She is best known as the vocalist for the 1980s new wave band Martha and the Muffins, which had a major international hit single with "Echo Beach". She also released a solo children's album, Songs from the Treehouse, in 1997, for which she won the Juno Award for Best Children's Album at the Juno Awards of 1997. She is married to her Martha and the Muffins bandmate, Mark Gane.
