Recorded at the legendary Ocean Way Studios in Los Angeles and features long term collaborator Grant Mitchell (Eric Clapton, Bee Gees, Emile Sande), the legendary Tower Of Power horn section (Santana, Grateful Dead, Little Feat, Aaron Neville) and Stevie Wonder’s rhythm section (Lenny Castro, Dean Parks, Herman Matthews, Freddie Washington) who’ve also worked with musicians as diverse as Quincy Jones. Michael Jackson, The Crusaders and Elton John. Marti is very exciting to announce his March 2017 Tour and the release of his extraordinary new album, Mysterious - which is available for pre-order now - and will be released on Friday 10th March 2017. Recorded at the iconic Ocean Way studios in Los Angeles over the Summer, collaborating with the legendary Tower of Power horn section and a world famous rhythm section - Marti has written 10 brand new songs and made the most spectacular album. Marti said: “We were able to bring the musicians from some of my favourite albums ever made together in a room and create magic - and I’m talking about guys who’ve worked with Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones, Diana Ross, The Crusaders - let alone Adele, Madonna and the Stones… just mind blowing playing! And then Allee Willis who wrote Earth Wind & Fire’s Boogie Wonderland joined us to co-write on the songs… and we’re channelling some the funkiest pop you’ve ever heard - I’m just so proud of this record” Marti co-wrote and recorded the record with his long-term collaborator, accompanist, programmer and arranger Grant Mitchell, also performing on the album were Lenny Castro, Dean Parks, Herman Mathews, Freddie Washington..
