Born in Zurich in 1948, Martin C. Janssen visited the College in Appenzell and then studied at the Law and Political Science Faculty of the University of Zurich and at the Graduate School of Management at the University of Rochester, NY, economics. For more than 35 years he has been teaching economics and financial economics at the University of Zurich and at other educational institutions at home and abroad.
