Canadian recording engineer. Upon completing studies in music composition and arranging, Martin began his studio career recording and mixing music at some of Toronto’s top facilities – McClear Place, Eastern Sound and Manta Sound. Although he has shifted focus to concentrate on post production, the lessons learned from working with music – both as a writer and an engineer – continue to be a significant influence. Over the last twenty years (or so) Martin has had the opportunity to work in a wide variety of projects including feature film, long format TV drama, musical variety and documentary. He is a recipient of over twenty industry recognitions including nominations from the Cinema Audio Society, Genies and MPSE Awards, and has won five Gemini Awards.
