Musician and audio technician from Ottawa, Canada. During the 80ies Jones played guitar for Honest Injun. Later in the decade he started working as recording engineer and producer, first for "Ambience Recorders", then for "Sound of One Hand Studios", which he used to co-run. He joined Furnaceface on Keyboards and Guitar in 1991 (under the name "Smarty Moans"), but when the band became more earnest and time consuming, he left in 1995 to pursue his work at "Sound of One Hand Studios".
