Marty Nelson has worked in the entertainment and advertising industries for over twenty years. He has written copy and music for commercials, produced records and directed videos. An original member of The Manhattan Transfer from 1969 to 1972, he appears on their 1971 Capitol Records debut album "Jukin". He not only performed but also did both instrumental and vocal arrangements on the album. Marty's voice has been heard on hundreds of radio and TV commercials as a singer and voice-over talent and has sung backup on albums for a variety of artists ranging from Frank Sinatra to The Village People.
