Single US 2015 on Retro-Respect Records label
Hip-Hop/Rap and R&B/Soul (Soul, Funk)
Teaming up for a one of a kind release that features both visual art and music, DJ A-L and Thomas "Detour" Evans drop a collaborative piece of art that could be displayed on your wall or played on your turntable. This project features two different 6" x 6" lathe cut records that pair brilliant artwork with soulful remixes on each record. Limited to only 24 copies, each record is individually cut using a 1970's Japanese record lathe cutter, truly making each copy one a one of a kind work of art. *Unlike professionally pressed vinyl these records require more care. Although most record player will not have an issue with playback some may require multiple attempts in order for the needle to track properly. These records may also not play on record players with "auto-return". More information is found at www.retro-respect.com.
