Mary Redhouse is a Grammy Award nominated native American jazz vocalist, bassist, guitarist, flautist and keyboard player. She is a member of the Dine' (Navajo tribe) known for her unique "eco spiritual" vocal style which includes everything from bird calls, native chant and scat. Her Grammy nomination came in 2005 as a member of The R. Carlos Nakai Quartet for their fourth album, "People of Peace".
