Album JP 1978 on Denon label
Jazz (Free Jazz)
VOICE FROM YONDER The VOICE from SPACE, soft and clear, Permeates my soul to imbue my being With a light, thin at first, then Evermore dazzling… SILENCE Within myself, and perhaps Deep in the heart of each of us, And unfathomed silence… WELCOME THEY come from the vastness of SPACE, Clad in the glory of Cosmic colors. THEY begin to dance, and THEIR Voices Are borne on the ceaseless winds. TRAVELERS We sojourn together, over all the earth, We set out in ships, hoisting our sails. We listen to the murmering forest Or feel the beat of the waves Throbbing in the background of our music. IT'S TIME And now it is time for THEM to leave. The hour of parting draws nigh. The music seems unending, as if Resounding through the boundless skies. FAREWELL THEY bid us farewell, and the Sorrow of parting engulfs our hearts. And as THEY fade into the VOID, THEY leave a warmth that, Like a flame, leaves a glow where once we played. Poems are copied from insert. Same will be found on the outer sleeve. Recorded on 2-3 February 1978. Production date on the record label says June 1978. Production date on the sleeve says July 1978. Liner notes (Japanese) written in May 1978.
