Italian musician, arranger, sound engineer, producer, publisher (born in Palmi, Reggio Calabria, Jan. 15, 1960) Prodigious keyboardist, son of folk bandleader Salvatore Idà, at age of 14 he performs Apoteosi, splendid example of mediterranean progr rock by Apoteosi with his brothers Silvana Idà and Federico Idà, Marcello Surace drums and Franco Vinci,guitars. The same lineap formed in 1979 Stress Band. The same year, as well as for game, releases with his brother Federico obscure soul-funky tune Zombi as The Zombies (3) and italo-disco tracks Let's Go b/w Mustang as Sandwich (5). Afterwards began his brilliant solo career collaborating with artist as Tito Schipa Jr., Massimo Ranieri, Nek, Tiziana Rivale, Adriano Pappalardo, Paola Turci. Since many years is one of the components of Frankie and Canthina Band.
