Album JM 1982 on Up Front Organization Ltd. label
Reggae (Dancehall)
Several songs on the album are actually covers, even though they are all listed as being written by Massive Dread: "Mr. Rooster" is written by Dave Martins and was originally performed by the Tradewinds in 1962. "Chicken Chest" is of unknown authorship, but was recorded as early as 1957 by the Steel Band of the University College of the West Indies, and also appeared on the album 'Yellow Bird' by Jamaica Duke in the 1960s. "Just Cool, Melba" is a version of 'Obeah Wedding' by the Mighty Sparrow.
