Mastafaktor is an electronic project born in late 2006 in Genoa, Italy, by Faktor (Sergio Frazzingaro, also co-founder of the artistic duo 'corpicrudi' mixing contemporary art, music and style) and MaSta (Mauro Stabile - Peoplesound, London; Disturbances, Rome/Germany), ). After a wide experience in the electronic DJ scenery, with a sound ranging from electro to minimal, including dj sets with Elle Allien & Apparat (BPitch control) at the 2006 Goa Boa Festival, and with Margareth Dygas (Minus) for the special 'Theatre night' at Teatro della Tosse (22 dec 06 Genoa, Italy), Faktor (www.myspace.com/djfaktor) contributed to his hometown electronic scenery renessaince being for 2004/06 season resident dj at the 74artsystem club. He presented his music selection also in contemporary art museums, festivals, shows & galleries all over Italy (including a gig in a small hotel room for 2005 Milano Flash Art show). In the project MastaFaktor the duo is now focused on a minimal/pure electronic sound with experimental influences.
