Joe, the surprisingly experimental debut from Matches In The Pool, was an incredible debut effort, though when compared to its follow up, the impressive sophomore effort, Grey Shoes proves just how far Lucas Tison can reach outside of all suggestions of musical ideals and concepts. He brings new energies, new stories, and new sounds on his second album, and assures that there is far more to come. This marked the end of his contract with Elyse, though has already signed on for another five future releases.
