A classically trained jazz saxophonist originally from the UK, has lived around Auroville, South India for the last 15 years and is highly sought-after as a jazz-man on the Indian music scene. He often does the up-and-down journey between Auroville and Bangalore, to play with one of the many bands he’s a part of. Some of the artists he has performed regularly with include, Radha Thomas and UNK, The Agenda with Sunita Sarathy, Amit Heri, Mili Nair, Andrea Jeremiah, Sangoma Everett, Krishna Kumar’s Templerock, and Mishko M'Ba’s tribute to Jaco Pastorius. Matt is also a composer and leads his own group performing original works.
