UK based guitar player, specialised on pedal steel guitar, and songwriter. Born in UK, Dawson made his first musical experiences in 1977 punk scene, playing for bands as 'Tombland Alley' and London punk band 'The DHHS'. In 1979 he joined Julian Dawson and they recorded the LP Let Out The Pig and toured together through Europe. In that time, both Dawsons spend much time in Germany and started to live there. This band lasted until 1989, when Matt Dawson founded his own band "Matt Dawson and the Warehouse". This band released 4 studio albums and one live album and was signed to BMG Germany. From the 1993-album 'River Of Gold', the song 'How much heartbreak' became a small hit. 2002 he joins The Lunaboots and performs on all their albums, 2009 he joins The Shanes and performs on 'Road Worrier'. 2014 he performs together with Tanja Silcher and Albert Lee. Matt Dawson today lives in Luxemburg and is still active musician.
