Matt Hughes delivers high energy rock and roll with a classic sound driven by powerhouse drums, guitars, bass and soaring vocals. Matt is an independent singer-songwriter who has extensive musical experience and incorporates different styles into his song-writing, resulting in a diverse spectrum of music. Matt is currently on the cutting edge of his song-writing abilities and is an up-and-coming force in the Canadian music industry. Since 2007 Matt has been writing and recording his own music while building a local and international fan base. His first EP entitled ‘Discovery’ was released in 2014, and now Matt is putting together songs for a second EP which will be released in 2019. As a skilled multi-instrumental musician, Matt writes, arranges and performs all of his own music on his recordings.
